Challenge
- The resourcing journey, which delivers resources (People) to client projects, was not as joined up as it could be –there was limited understanding of what the end to end journey looked like for clients and contractor resource which led to inefficiency and pressures.
- There was also a need to improve information on Resources available, in order to more quickly & accurately deploy resources to clients.

- Personas & the future journey were mapped, focused on how to make it more efficient & effective, utilising emergent technologies, supporting the shift from reactive to proactive.
- In our interactive workshop, key improvement areas (quick wins & larger changes) were prioritised and aligned to the needs of the resourcing department & wider business.
Outcome
- Ideas & options, of how the department could be future proofed – with new products to increase efficiencies & a different structure, allowing a shift from head office centric, to a more distributed model.
