Whilst they could have done this internally TCC recognised the benefit a trusted outside company, who understood the Service Sector intimately, could bring to really challenge their existing operating model & approach, to ensure that they were delivering the best outcomes for their Clients.
Challenge
- TCC had experienced significant growth over the last few years & expanded the sectors they were serving, so wanted to take the opportunity to complete a review of their Demand & Resource planning Operating Model (process, technology, insights, people, ways of working) to ensure they have the right foundations for future growth.

- Conducted a full review of their existing operating model and approach to planning practises with their existing clients & prospects, we then benchmarked this against industry standards & best in class.
- Undertook a GAP analysis across all aspects of forecasting and planning in collaboration with the Planning & Operational leads.
- Undertook reviews of Client process where possible/feasible.
- Showcased best in class examples & approaches to be adopted.
Outcome
- Designed and delivered a high level target operating model (TOM) for delivering improved Planning & Resourcing across all their clients.
- Delivered a high level, prioritised recommendations change plan.
- Identified and suggested solutions (where required) to embed the TOM efficiently and effectively.
